The digital competence of the students is taken into account by the European Framework of Digital Competences for Citizens (DigComp). Thus, the DigCompEdu domain follows the same logic and details five competencies aligned with DigComp in terms of content and description. The names were, however, adapted to emphasize the pedagogical dimension and the central point within this framework of competences.
